rash

I posted this on the chronic pain page as well. I have been battling pelvic pain for year. I have had many test procedures, and surgeries. Well the latest is this rash that I have. I have had it several times over the past several year. It is round, about a quarter in size, red and lighter in the midde. Like I said it comes and goes. I still have extreme pelvic pain. i am going to start a journal to see if the pain is worse when I have the rash. Dr. Said it was from pain meds. I take 3 - 4 a day. I also noticed that my urine has a very strong smell lately and is very cloudy. Can this be symptoms of Lupus. Any help would be appreciated. My doctors must think I am nuts. My file is very thick. But all the test, procedures have not helped. I am at my wits end.

when i first started having rash issues, they told me it was actinic keratoses. Did the whole cryosurgery thing to remove it since AKs are pre-cancerous. Froze multiple spots on my face and arms . . . which did nothing except irritate my skin further. Instead of it taking 2 weeks for the cryo to heal, it took about 4 months for the scabbing to go away and, lo and behold, my skin problems were still there and not improved at all. It is very possible they will go ahead with surgery, even if you have a rash - especially if you are having it done as an outpatient at your dermies office.

Pelvic pain with cloudy urine? Some sort of urinary tract infection, maybe . . . I would have it checked out. Really, truly . .  .

Thank you for the responses. I had my surgery for skin cancer yesterday, it went well. It was in the O.R. and took about 2 hours. I have about 50 sutures.  Anyway, the nurse did notice the rash on my chest, after surgery. She suggested that I get it checked out.  I will be having my Sed rate checked tomorrow. All these symptoms just seem always to be pointing to Lupus. I know that I am not a doctor, but would like to get to thebottom of this. I will also be having my urine tested.  I dought that it is a UTI, not painful when I urinate, just very strong smell and cloudy. Any way, I will let you know what test turns up. I realize that crohns is also a autoimmune, so it does make sense to me.  DOes anyone else have vhronic pelvic pain assosiated with lupus?
