sudden fevers

Hi everyone, if I have asked this question before please chalk it up to the "Fog"....

 

Does anyone else just suddenly get the chills and a fever? It happens to me at least once a month. I can't seem to figure out anything different I am doing when it happens and it doesn't seem to be on days I over exhert or anything like that. But usually it will last for 12 to 24 hours and then it goes away. Also, how can we search past threads? I was going to try that before I asked this, but could figure out how to search.

Happens to me - I really believe it is hormone related. Even though I have reached an age where my periods are unpredictable (sorry guys), I still seem to have monthly hormone problems! Maybe the same thing for you? Feel better!

I haven't really noticed if it is at the same time every month. I write it on the calendar and check next time it happens. I do take my temp and it has been as high as 103. I have asked my rheumy and he said it was just the lupus. He said that I am probably over doing it and its my body telling me to slow down. But it never seems to happen at a really busy or more busy then usual time. I iwill bring up the hormonal thing next time I see  him. Thanks for the help!
