Well, I think I'm going to try the Marshall protocol, a strong antibiotic based therapy for certain forms of chronic disease. Not advocating it for anyone, just think it may be one of the last options I have. The recent steroids injections really hurt my liver and made me really weak and the pain is back already. I don't know if my liver will be able to handle the Marshall protocol drugs, but will try. I'm also feeling like my body is so weak that the antibiotic therapy might be a good thing. I have to drive a long way to get to a doctor, maybe even all the way to Emory, there is a doc there doing it. I just hope I can find a doc close enough to make it workable.
For those that want to know about it or how its going once I start you can email me. I have read some promising patient stories and based on my own individual disease and a lack of family history of problems, I feel this may be the right choice for me. The steroids are just messing up my endo so bad and now affecting the liver, that's no good. I couldn't do it until I was off the isoniazid. I really hope I can find a doctor now. Well, it will be a new experience anyway!
