My name is cg and I am new to this forum. I have systemic lupus and today and yesterday has not been a good day for me as I have been in so much pain and just crying constantly and very depressed. I have only had lupus and I still can't get use to the idea that I have this chronic illness. I have been having such a hard time dealing with this that I need to be with others that know and feel what I have been going through. my wonderful husband has been so very patient and supportive but I don't really think he understands what i go through. we don't get to be together much because he works over 40 hours a week and the only time that I get to spend with him is on the week ends, so I am very lonely when I am by myself. This is why I have decided to join here to meet others that are going through the same thing and to make some very good close friends.
I can't wait to meet you all
Sincerely
cg

Welcome cg,
You are among people who truly understand your pain. It is great that you have a wonderful
supportive husband. I am blessed too with a supportive husband, family and friends.
Coping with a chronic illness can be stressful. I excercise when I can, read, hangout with
my friends. It is important that you know your limitations, pace yourself, try not to over
do. Take one day at a time. Try not to worry, I know easier said than done. Get enough
rest. I always find if I do too much one day, I am paying for it the next.
I am so sorry you are hurting. What medications are you on?
Hope you find pain relief soon
