Hi I'm new here. I have a daughter that the Doctors think may have Lupus. However the test keep coming up negative. I don't know what to do next. I am so scared and confused. Any sugestions are wlcomed.

First of all, welcome to the forum. I'm so sorry you have a need to be here. I regret to answer your question with questions, but it may help if you could give a little more insight.

1.) What symptoms is your daughter experiencing? or What lead the doctor's to suspect lupus?

2.) What kind of doctor is she seeing? (primary care, pediatrician, rheumatologist?)

3.) Is she taking any medications for her symptoms?

There are so many knowledgeable people who frequent this forum. Some have children with lupus. Hang in there! Keep checking back, others will chime in! God Bless you, Judy

Angelmom, welcome to the forum. First of all, I hope you don't project your fear around your daughter. If she's in diagnosis limbo, I don't know what you can do for her except make sure she's leading a very healthy life: she should stay out of the sun, eat a healthy diet with plenty of vegetables, fruits, antioxidants, etc. and no get too fatigued. Being happy is a great silent cure as well.

I'm speaking here as a mom, not a doctor, though, and I suggest that the next time you go to the doctor you have a frank conversation with them an see what they recommend.

Lupus can often be mild. I believe, and so does my doctor, that I've gone into remission. That said, I would be worried too. I hope she does ok.
