Tea

I just got my treat to myself, a shipment of teas and honey. I even ordered the special japanese tea ceremony tea set. I will let you all know what it is like once I use it the first time. I just figured we are always talking about tea maybe it was time for a treat of special tea for me. I prefer the loose leaf tea because of the flavor difference. I figure I really deserve this treat given the news I got yesterday. Besides which it is darned cold up here and I love heat so hot tea will definately be appropriate. I hope everyone else is doing well. I will tell you all where I got the tea from- republic of tea- just in case I really love what I got. I really would love to share a hot cup of tea with everyone we all need some pampering lately. Maybe it will help with my cold.

Sounds like a great bunch of tea's. I hope you enjoy drinking them, I'm a huge tea lover myself. I hope you're doing ok Redrose, you mentioned that you had been given poor news. I hope things are going better for you and that you enjoy your tea. Yes, you deserve to be pampered.

thanks. So far I tried the chai tea with chai tea honey (white honey blended with spices) and it is excellent. I figure we will try the tea ceremony tea in the next day or two but I want to wait until hubby is available for that one because it is meant to be shared by two. Besides which the spicing in the chai tea is good for colds. It helps to have something to do to pass the time until I see the kidney specialist monday and find out how bad things are.

have fun with the tea set! i got a full tea set when i was in china for the first time a couple of years ago, but didnt learn how to use it until last year . . . it is so much fun to make loose tea with a proper set! it makes you feel like you are truly spoiling yourself, indeed!
