TMI WARNING!!!

So I guess there is no "polite" way to put this...all of a sudden I have a dark brown extremely foul smelling discharge (warned ya!!) I've done some reading and found it could be 1 of 3 things...1. old blood, 2. an infection, and 3. a couple people who have lupus have said they have experienced the same thing but usually means they have an infection and they happen quite frequently. Well due to the weather I am unable to get a hold of anyone unless I use the emergency line which I don't think this constitutes an emergency. So I guess my question to all of you is again....have any of you experienced anything like this before? I am so happy that I have found this forum and am able to ask these questions before I bring them up with my docs...if I ever get to see one but that is a different story all of its own. Again, I appreciate the your responses...hope you all are doing well!!!

Do you have any pain in your pelvic area or lower back? When I had my daughter 26 years ago I started having a dark brown discharge a few months later. I also had low back pain and pelvic pain. When I did have a period, which were very light, it felt like my insides were going to fall out when I stood up.

I had endemetriosis inside my uterus. I hope you can get in tough with your doctor soon and get an appointment. You could have an infection that is easily treated.
