Carol's back in the hospital again

Carol has been taking 4 pills of lasix a day & thinks that's 800 mg a day and has still gained a pound since she left the hospital. They took an ultrasound of her heart this morning and are going to take two more to determine what kind of heart failure she has. Her doctor is also concerned about a sore spot on the back of one of her legs and has ordered an ultrasound of that as well in order to determine whether or not she has a blood clot. I don't know what happens at this point, and it goes without saying that I'm very concerned about her. I'll keep you posted.

Carol's back home again & I think they gave her funny pills instead of her meds because she had me laughing for half an hour. Needless to say she's feeling better again and the swelling has gone down. She has her moments, but all in all she has the best attitude for being as sick as she is.

I need to check in on Barb but it's too late to call the East coast. Tomorrow.

Hope all of you are enjoying this nice Friday night. The Olympics are on and they're pretty amazing.
