I am feeling a new pain in my toes that is like a needle being stuck through my toe. It takes my breath away when it happens, but only lasts seconds. Has anyone else had this pain?

Hi Arrow, fleeting pain is common. It can be a sign of neuropathy. Let your rheumy know what's going on so they can help you manage it.

I get a burning pain in my toe joints that feels like burning acid has been inserted in the joints. As Ginny says, these kinds of pains can be fleeting, but should always be related to your rheumy. Some people find it helpful to keep a calendar or notebook noting when different symptoms come along. (I wish I could do that, but find it too depressing!)
