It's supposed to be over 103 here today with heat index of 110. Which made me think of all of my friends on here and just thought a little reminder is never a bad thing. Please click on link. I didn't want to take up expensive space by pasteing it.

what a nice article, thanks! I have a story about the heat in Florida. One day, my husband was going out fishing and we didn't realize it but he had dropped a shrimp on the concrete of the driveway. When we got back, I saw it and picked it up expecting it to stink to high heavens. Well, it didn't stink, it smelled good b/c it was fully cooked!!!! It really took me back. It was all pink and pretty. No, we didn't eat it.....

Jean you're braver then me. First mistake you made was not making hubby pick it up! Plus I must be living wrong or something. I don't know you guys feed shrimp to the fish! I had a hot dog for dinner!
I can relate to the heat thing though. I lived in arizona for 25 years. No matter how long I lived there I could never learn to walk on the sidewalk barefooted. You have to put shoes on to get the paper at 8 am.

It is incredibly hot here in NC...we norally dont get this bad in this area so we are really struggeling. I woke up at 8:30 and its close to 90 degrees. Supposed to have a heat index of 105-110 degrees!! YOWSERS! and looks like no relief until next week!!! Hope everyone isnt having this type of above average heat!
