fatigue

Anyone know of any medication that helps with fatigue? Especially while trying to lower prednisone dosage. My rhemuy decided we need to lower my prednisone to help my bones have a fighting chance but it is adding to my fatigue and to make things worse I am off the provigil so none of that to help anymore. I remember reading somewhere about some older drug you can use with plaquenil that is in the same drug class and helps but can't recall what it is called. I know you have to get it from a compounding pharmacy instead of a regular one too.

 Hi Redrose. I am getting ready to leave the house so have to make this short. I take the medicine you are asking about and I get it from a compounding pharmacy. It is called quinacrine HCL. I am on 50 mgs right now and we are thinking about increasing it to 75 mgs if my joint pains increase as we decrease prednisone to 10 mgs. I feel like it helps me as I had severe fatigue in the beginning and now I just sleep at night from around 10 or 11 to about 7 in the morning and I am fine all day.
