I was recently told that my ANAChoice Screening came back positive and that when that comes up positive they check for Antibodies to double-stranded DNA (anti-dsDNA), which also came back positive. THe doctor also checked for rheumatoid factor, which came back normal. She reffered me to a specialist, but he doesnt have anything available for another month. I am very nervous and confused. I've read that a posivite ANA screening doesn't always mean you have lupus, but what about
those anti-dsDNA?? Have symptoms such as hairloss, weight gain, depression,photo sensitivity, tiredness and painful and swollen joints, but I always though this was all due to me being a weakling and stress. Please any advice, comments, will be greatly appreaciated.
