skin issues... any suggestions, please!?

I have a splotchy, red rash on my face. I know it's very characteristic of lupus: all around my eyes and across my cheeks and nose.

And now I've started to get sores on my face that won't heal... they almost look like craters, if you will.

I have tried Protopic and Halog, neither had a noticeable effect. I use Aveeno Ultra-Calming Facewash and Moisturizer. Everything else I've tried has been too harsh.

I'm on a ton of meds and none of them seem to be helping.

It's so dry and flaky! And hot and itchy!

If anyone knows any topicals/creams/moisturizers/lotions/ANYTHING that could help make this look or feel better, please share your knowledge with me.

I know there are a lot of lupies with the same issue so I'm hoping to hear someone else has figured something out!

Kimberly...have you tried Vichy dermablend skin foundation? I get shade 45. I find it has great coverage and hides the redness of my nose well. Im fair skinned too :)
