Check in the post at the top "Lupus Resources" - you will find lists of things to note and take with you to the rheumy. Try not to worry while you wait for your rheumy appointment! Lupus doesn't have to be a big hairy monster, just wait and see what is really happening.
Meanwhile, you might check on your Dr and see if he is involved in any local groups (like local chapter of
www.lupus.org) -- some rheumies are not good with auto-immune disorders, but one working with lupus would be well-informed and up-to-date on treatments available.
