This is my first post although I've been treated for lupus for 12 years. I have been in denial for a long time and trying to lead a double life. Some new, so far patient friends have encouraged me to see that I shouldn't be ashamed. While I can't believe that's true, I am at least ready to face up to this and see what I can do to help the symptoms. That's a long way of building up to a simple question - does anyone else suffer with their fingers blistering and the skin peeling off? It feels like I have lots of pins sticking in to the areas you would take finger prints from. They are very sore and very sensitive. This has happened before, not long after diagnosis, and it spread to my palms. It seems to happen when I have constant sweats and a low-grade fever. It would be good to know if this is something others have experienced and I would love ideas on how to treat it.
