Benlysta Round 2

     I just had my second Benlysta infusion this afternoon.  Everything went well.  What I am finding amazing is that I have been feeling better than I have in a long time.  I am not as fatigued, have more energy and my joint inflammation is much more tolerable.  Part of me wants to give credit to the 10 mg. of Prednisone I am also taking, but I do think this new treatment just might work for me.  The hope is that after 6 weeks, we will begin reducing the Predisone, with the ultimate goal being no more it....which I am really looking forward to.  I go for round 3 on August 17th, and of course, will keep all of you posted.

Are there others currently on Benlysta treatment??

      Thanks for the support!!!  I will definitely keep posting as I go through this process.  I have not had real relief in quite a few years, so this would be wonderful.  It might just help keep me working until I get ready to retire in 5 years.
