Recently diagnosed with lupus panniculitus

Hi, this is my first time posting. I was diagnosed with lupus panniculitis about 2 months ago. Mine started out with a small bruise on my leg that within a month wrapped around my entire calf. After seeing 5 specialists over 4 months, I was officially diagnosed after 2 biopsies. Now I have about 4 hard , painful nodules in both my legs. And they also itch like crazy. I take Plaquenil 2x a day. That has helped with the fatigue, headaches, hair loss etc but nothing for the panniculitis. I am hoping to find some new friends on hear that can shed some light on this rare form of the disease or that I can just vent to. I am a stay home mom with 2 young kids and this has impacted my daily life tremendously. I look forward to hearing from someone.

Someone was one here recently with it. I don't remember if she's still reading and posting here though.
