I have had lupus and fibromyalgia for at least the past 20 years but have pushed through most of those years cause i had to.
My doctor wants to always order tramadol or neurontin and more. I'm up to the highest doses.....then he moved me to Lortab, then percocet, but they do not work. The only thing I've found to work is low dose of morphine makes a world of differance all the way around. I can work and function with my family. I actually have a life. I got the pills from my neighbor and dropped the hing to my doctor to change but he ignored me.
I live in Middle Tennesse. Does anyone know any doctor that is more liberal about treating pain. I , myself , am a Registered Nurse that has had to cut my hours back to about 15 a week because I'm getting worse. I have no quality of life, due to this the depression is getting worse and thoughts of suicide enter my mind ....but I know I'd never do it....I just think of it cause I'm so tired of hurting.
Does anyone know a good doctor in Tennessee or any surrounding state (I will drive) that understands what I'm going through.
Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.
