Shortness of Breath

I am experiencing shortness of breath with normal activity. I wonder if it is lupus related. I am overweight, but have only recently had the breathing problems.

I'm like that but I have asthma and am overweight.

You might want to be checked out to be sure of what's like.

I am not a Doctor by any means but it's possible that you may have either pleurisy or a case of pericarditis. Or you could have pneumonia or something like that those sometimes are related to lupus.

I recommend that you seek medical attention at either a Urgent care facility or go to the nearest ER, ASAP. You do not want to take any chances with you possibly stopping breathing.

I have had that type of breathing problem early on in my journey with Lupus. I did see a Pulmonologist who diagnosed lung inflammation. Once I had it treated with steroids, I felt much better. You really should see someone.
