(((Hugs))) for JOY - I'm so sorry

Hi Joy,

I was reading through the Fibro forum and I saw your post on your kitty, I'm so sorry that she passed away a few days ago. I know how upsetting that is, especially since she had been sick for several days prior.

I hope that your flare is improving and you're beginning to feel a bit better. I know I could and should have posted on the Fibro thread, but I wanted us lupus folks to offer up some much needed hugs and support.

I have a kitty that's 17 years old and he's hanging in there but has health issues. I'm totally dreading the day when he needs to depart from me. I had to put our other kitty down in 2001 we had her for 15 years plus she was 2 years old when we got her. It was the hardest thing I had to do EVER.

Take care of yourself, rest and try to let yourself grieve for your kitty. Try to sleep a lot and eat healthy, your flare will settle out soon. If not make sure you call your Doctor and maybe get a steroid dose pack.

I'm getting better emotionally. I just really miss her.

I had to go to the UC today because she bit me Sunday night when I tried to hold her and the place had started to swell and turn red.
The doctor gave me a strong antibiotic that I've never taken before. Fingers crossed that I'm not allergic to it.
Lovely shot too in the arm to prevent lock jaw. :(
