think I caught the flu

I think I caught the flu or a nasty respiratory virus.
My eyes are watering, nose runny, and a deep chest cough.
My father had it for a month. My mother and niece currently have it.

I guess I need to see a doctor. Groan....

Hi Joy,

     Take care of yourself.  The bug that has been going around here is bad.  With our immune systems we can't afford to catch these viruses.  Hope your feeling okay today.

I always seem to get ill on the weekends. I'll go see the doctor on Monday I guess. I can go right after lunch to get squeezed in on walk-in day.
It will be my fourth doctor's appointment this month. $$$$$$

Gentle hugs (((((hugs))))) for you. I'm sorry that you're sick and have caught the flu. It does seem to always hit us on the weekend does't it.

I hope you can get in to b seen on Monday, but don't wait if you get worse. If you're worse today, then I'd go to the nearest urgent care. If there isn't one near by the I'd say the local ER.

Please try to rest and drink plenty of fluids. Please keep us updated when you feel up to it.

Well, it's not the flu....it's bronchitis. :((

I've got a raw throat, splitting headache, deep congestion and my joints are flaring.

I'm sorry to hear that it's bronchitis, but at least it's not the flu. The flu can take forever to get rid of and such, at least normally with bronchitis you'll get antibiotics and you'll be on the mend soon.

Hang in there, try warm salt water for the throat, pain relievers for the headache, and I'm hoping your Dr has given you something for the congestion and your joints.

I hope you start to feel better real soon.

5 days of predisone, alevox, and mucnix DM.

What was that doctor your friend was going to?

I'm getting better lung wise. It's been rough good but I think I caught it in time.

Sorry that you've felt so bad, but it sounds like you may be feeling a bit better. I hope things are improving and you're feeling a lot better.

Keep up with the fluids and rest you will continue to improve daily. You're in my thoughts and prayers and I hope by next week you're all better.

You're welcome, I believe he's in Decatur, GA. My friend is somewhere near Griffin, GA, she said that she drives to see him and it's not to bad. Hopefully, you will live close by and it won't be to long of a drive for you.
