Question? Can a person have a positive ana with a nucleolar pattern be diagnosed with lupus?

I have had the same pattern for over a year but I have read it is more associated with sclerderma. I don't have the skin issues that I have read about with sclerderma.

What you mentioned about the nuclear pattern being associated with sclerderma is what I've always seen. And speckled or peripheral (rim) pattern is connected with SLE.

I don't know how concrete these associations are, or if they overlap in some way. I wouldn't be too surprised if they aren't fairly fluid.
