Merry Christmas Everyone!
I'm new to the site but I have been dealing with health issues non-stop since Feb 2013. Started with having a really bad cold which resulted in several months of taking oral antibiotics. In the course of that treatment I developed a severe yeast infection where I was given FLUCONAZOLE it worked wonders, but three days after taking the medication I developed a really itchy rash on my face, arms, chest, neck, and stomache. They felt like the rashes was allergic reactions to the medication, but ever since then I have current flares. I have been dealing with these flares ups since July. The rash on my face is the worst, I have suffered with fatigue, fevers, weight gain, joint pain, anxiety, memory loss (more than usual), and sharp pains in chest when taking deep breathes. Last month my dermatologist wanted me to be tested for ANA because I have been on every antibiotic and topical steriod there is with no help. But the strange thing is that the rash comes and goes. Well I tested positive for ANA, was sent to a rheumatologist where I was diagnosed with Fibromalysia. I was tested again to confirm if I had Lupus but the tests came back negative. Honestly, I am at my wits end and these doctors aren't helping. Has anyone else had this issue? The only symptoms that I do not have of "typical" Lupus is hair loss, mouth ulcers, or weight loss.
