Hey everybody!
I get all my copies of my bloodwork and tests and keep them in a little notebook where I jot down questions for my rheumy, healthy eating suggestions for lupus etc etc.
Anyway, I've been noticing a trend where some flags in my bloodwork aren't really of concern to my doctors, or don't seem to be. For example, I'm quite low in potassium. Nothing was said to me about it and I only know because I have a copy of the bloodwork.
Common sense to me would say ok lady eat some more bananas and let's address this, which I have but I wonder why they overlook this stuff.
I wonder why in my experiences as of late this seems to happen quite a bit. Is it because they are too busy trying to find out if I'm having a heart attack so these other flags aren't of priority, or are they just really busy people that miss this stuff and/or it's not as important?
I don't let it freak me out or anything, I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this?
