CRP/ESR blood tests

Are you suppose to fast before a CRP and ESR tests? I had these done and I did not fast and I also took 2 aspirins the day before the tests. My results were normal but I'm worried maybe their not accurate since I did not fast and I took the aspirins.

From your forum lupie with a BS in Medical Technology (hospital lab) you don't need to fast for an ESR or CRP. Also aspirin will not alter the values. Love, Butterflake
