Hoping dr will go over test results & not lie like the endo did to me.

My endocrinologist almost two weeks ago told me over the phone that I need to follow up on some of the tests that were done. When I tried asking him if any came back bad he kept saying I'll go over them with you at your appointment. He didn't go over them with me. Told me to wait for my appointment with my rheumatologist. Then "lost" the copies of the test results & couldn't give me the copy of them. I asked receptionist for them she had to really search the computer to find the digital copy & gave them to me.

If I am reading the results correctly it seems that Lupus and Scleroderma came back ok, I think. My antibodies are high, really high, but I think it was for the thyroid. That only leaves the results for lymphoma. Now you can't determine Lymphoma off blood test alone, but the test will give us an idea if Lymphoma is a possibility. I have my appointment with my rheumatologist tomorrow to go over the test results. If he doesn't go over them I am going to lose it. I am desperate to find out what's wrong. I've been so tired I can't even stay awake in the day. This morning I woke up, my hubby & I ate cereal while watching that 70's show like we do every morning. After eating I felt the need to lay down, I ended up falling back to sleep during the episode. My hubby woke me up, got in the shower and I was back asleep by the time he got out. He kept trying to wake me up but I just couldn't stay awake. I really hope these test come back with something wrong only because I know there's something wrong & I just want to find it already and start treating it so I can feel better.

Oh yeah I forgot to add, my mother in law is taking me to the appointment. She really doesn't want to go to this appointment though. I do & don't. I do because I want to discuss with him the results & other ideas he may have as to what's causing things. But I don't because I'm afraid of going just to not be given the time of day. I'm so sick of the endo not taking time with me & I've only had 1 appointment with the rheumy & he didn't spend much time either, kept trying to leave the room to end the appointment. So I don't want to waste my money on an appointment if the dr is only going to say the results and be done with the apt. He can just do that over the phone. My MIL is wanting me to call before the appointment & try just getting the results over the phone. I don't think they're going to do that, she asked why not, I said because they want me to have to come in to the office and pay for a visit. Key word "pay" They want $....

I had a similar experince with my rhuemy. He kept bouncing his feet like he wanted to leave me. I got upset and started bawling and cried "am I keeping you from something important?" Suprisingly he hasn't bounced his feet in my presents since then.
Maybe you need to look at him the next time he starts to rush you and ask if you're keeping him from something more important than you.

Joy, when my endocrinologist was trying to leave the room in the middle of my sentence I said hey wait a minute, I still have questions. He said he has something he needs to do, a meeting or something. I said hey I paid to have this appointment. He said that doesn't mean I have to spend time on you. What the! I over heard him talking to the nurse saying he was going to lunch, everyone had to be at lunch by 3 or something & it was only 2:30.
