HELP!! CANNOT FIGURE OUT ANA BLOODWORK

 Hello all!

I am new here and have been going through testing for several months now. My original ANA came back 1:320 homogenous. Went to the Rhemo he of course ordered new blood work.. It has come back and it says nothing about a titer. Can someone please help me figure these out?

Anti-DNA 3.2 Value

Anti-SM 2.3 Value

Anti-SM-RNP 1.0 Value

Anti-SSA 3.9 Value

Anti-SSB 1.7

Anti SCL-70 (No results)

The Rhemo susp Lupus or Fibro. I don't go back for a follow up for several more weeks.

Labs alone are not used to diagnose lupus. Their role in the disease is unclear. Diagnosis is done on the basis of observed clinical symptoms, labs and other tests. You can have positive results for antibodies and never get sick. Many have a positive ana but do not have lupus.

You might also have low RBC, WBC and platelet counts as well as some antibodies. Also keep in mind that these tests can vary from time to time and also from lab to lab.

Not an easy disease to diagnose and it is often an overlap with other AI diseases. I have lupus, polymyositis and autoimmune hepatitis. It "lurked" for at least 15 years before I was sick. That is known in retrospect due to low platelets and red blood cells but never sick.
