Just received a note from Barbara - she's had a fall and injured her primary hand, so isn't up to much typing but could use prayers & positive energy. I'm just going to cut/paste a bit of what she wrote me.

I've not posted in awhile due to an accident I had last Wednesday afternoon. I tripped and almost fell in our hallway, I had just received a lecture from the pain management Dr about falling and so I really tried to keep myself off the floor. Needless to say, I smacked my right hand against the door frame. I was certain it was broken as soon as it happened. Had to call hubby and he came home early from work, I wanted him to take me to the clinic on base. My Dr. had already put in an order for an x-ray. However, when hubby arrived he took one look at my hand and said we might as well go on to the ER, your hand has to be broken.
Hubby wouldn't allow me to take anything for pain, before heading out to the ER. He thought I might need surgery. We get to the ER and the Dr asked me what took for pain. When he said, "I wouldn't let her take anything", the ER Dr was a bit peeved I think. He was like she has an acute injury here, it's okay to take something. Long story short, it's not broken according to them. Not sure I believe that though, I can't tell how many times they'd say my rib weren't fractured and then they were.
It's really hard to type or do anything, since it's my right and I'm right handed. Could you do me a favor and just start a new thread on the forum for me and post that I'm laid up with an injured hand for a bit. When I'm able to so I'll post, that I'd appreciate it if I could get some positive energy or prayers.
My PCM, has received orders and will be leaving me in April. I've been with her since she graduated from Medical School. She has taken care of me for 8 years now and is VERY accommodating to me and I HOPE that she's able to find me a PCM that will work with me like she has.
Sure hope things look up soon, Barbara!
