I just turned 18 years old and am about to move off to start college. 3 months ago I was tired of dealing with many odd symptoms that just kept seeming to get worse so I went to the doctor. My PCP diagnosed it a allergies, which I found odd so I went for a second opinion to another doctor I had been to for emergencies in town. He said it sounded like Lupus and was definitely not allergies. My symptoms are achy, swollen joints, headaches, hair falling out, sores on scalp, butterfly rash on face, fatigue, memory problems, and high blood pressure. He did a few tests and these are the results.
ANA: Positive
ANA Pattern: Homogeneous
ANA Titer: 1:1280
RA PAT: Negative
After seeing these results he referred me to a rheumatologist who I will finally get to see in a week and a half. (They are apparently very busy) I was just wondering what I should expect at the appointment and if I should bring anything? Also does this sound like lupus?
