One thing you can do is when you look at lupus.org, find the local branch. Then see who is active on they local advisory board, they are definitely lupus-aware. Also if there is a local support group visit it a couple of times and talk to people about their doctors.

Also, you might need to add an email address to your account here - we can't really recommend Drs to you by name, as that might get HW in legal trouble if something were to go wrong. Members can, however, email you suggestions if they have them.
