New here! I have endometriosis , pcos, Ra, lupus, migraines, and recently. Glacoma, I'm having a major lupus flair.

I have a nose ulcer, it bleeds 4 times or more a day. The pain is horrific any tips to help. I've been on 4 different antibiotics , has anyone experienced this? I feel so lost and confused!

I am so sorry you are going through a flare. I just got recent labs back an my inflammation markers are all elevated so my rheumie is going to give me an injection of steroids .

It is hard to stay positive when you feel crummy. Feel free to come here and ask for help whenever you need it. We all understand what you are going through. Hang in there.

Hi Motowngirl,

Sorry to hear you are in the midst of a major flare. As NanaBee said many times when we are in a bad flare our rheumy will generally give us a large steroid shot or prescribe a medrol pack to ease the inflammation. As far as the ulcers in the nose I get these as well, I try warm, moist washclothes and sometimes I put some Vaseline to sooth them. But for the most part I have to wait them out and let them heal.

Hope this flare passes quickly.

Welcome to our forum Motowngurl. I'm having a major flare now too. No ulcers in my nose now but in the past my rheumy said to put antibiotic ointment in my nose. It's also what I use for dry nose. I have ulcers now on my hoohoo. What a place to have them! That's Lupus. I'm in bed with no energy but have good meds for the pain. I took a prednisone taper but it only helped while I was taking it. I hope you can get comfortable for a while and that your flare ends soon Sweetie. Love, Butterflake
