Hi Everyone. I came home Tuesday afternoon. Hubby is home with me this week. A man from physical therapy has come twice. A machine was dropped off in which I place my leg 2 hours each day while it raises my knee to a certain degree, then lowers it flat and repeats.
I'm quite exhausted, sleep often, and using the bathroom is quite an ordeal. 3 times I didn't make it to the toilet in time. I've started 3 new meds, Percocet, xarelto, and nifedipine. My Raynauds became bad just days before surgery. One finger repeatedly turned purple down to the knuckle so my rheumy prescribed nifedipine. My orthopedic surgeon prescribed the xarelto to prevent blood clots post surgery and my pain management doc prescribed the Percocet. I have a fine red itchy rash so orthopedic prescribed a methylprednisolone taper pack yesterday. I'm so tired that it's nice to have some energy and the rash is already improving. Well I've rambled long enough. Thanks for reading this. Love, Butterflake
