Hello everyone. 39 year old male. In March I was in the best shape of my life running 3 5K's per week. Then all of a sudden my left knee started feeling sore intermittently behind the knee cap. After a couple weeks my right knee started hurting. I cut out all activity at the gym. For the next couple months after that, the pain seemed to bounce between my two knees and all my joints in my body started cracking. After 3 months dealing with that, I went to my Dr. for my normal annual checkup, and he said I had runners knee and scheduled me for PT (which starts tomorrow). Not sure what tests they ran outside of normal liver, kidney, and cholesterol, but they did say everything came back fine with the exception of slightly high albumin (was 5.3 and they wanted 5.0 or lower). Well, that Dr. Appointment was 3 weeks ago, and since then my elbows have both been sore and I have random pinching in different joints...especially when lifting /twisting or pushing things. It seems the pain is less when i'm sitting and not moving. There is no physical swelling and the joints are not sensitive to pushing on them, however my jeans rubbing on my knees make them sensitive at times. I'm going to schedule an appt with my Dr for a full workup next week, but wanted to get some feedback here as I'm pretty scared. So far, the joint pain and cracking has been my only symptom. Went to ER today, but they said they wouldn't have results today...which is why I'm waiting to see my normal Dr. My temperature was 98.7 there as well. Thank you in advance.
