Hello, I'm new to this site so forgive me if I'm out of place! I've been having a few symptoms that have been giving me major problems, and I just want to know if it sounds familiar to any of you. Now I know you're not doctors, and I understand that completely. I'm just doing some research to calm my mind before all of my appointments.
My Symptoms:
Swollen lymph nodes along left side of neck (about 6 that I can feel)
Stiff neck
Headache/Migraines (mainly occurs after I wake up)
Upper Left Abdominal Pain
Fatigue
Ongoing eye infection (was told it was pink eye 3 months ago, and even though the redness and discharge is gone, my eyelid is still droopy and swollen)
So, I've been to my primary doctor and he was concerned about the lymph nodes and fatigue. He ordered a blood test, CT Scan, and also referred me to an ENT and GI doctor. The blood test came back and my inflammation levels were extremely high (they were also high about 6 months ago..same symptoms then minus the lymph nodes and eye problems). They said my rheumatoid factors were positive which leads them to believe I have some sort of autoimmune disease, so he also referred me to a rheumatologist.
I haven't been to any of the other doctor appointments yet, nor have I had my CT Scan yet. I'm just ready to figure out what it is so I can start medication lol. I feel soooooo crappy!
Any Ideas???
