One thing to learn quickly about Lupus -- nothing is "normal"; everyone's illness presents differently and even then changes with what sometimes seems daily rapidity.
When something is bothering you, like this head pain, make a note of when it started. Also note the medications, amount of sleep, kind of food, and any exercise. Note when it stops. After a few weeks, or months, of listening to your body you will begin to get a feel for what your situation will tolerate and what it won't.
For me, there was a long period of time when I could only do one thing out of the house each day. I could grocery shop OR visit the library, but not both. This is with 10 hrs of deep, restorative sleep, fairly healthy eating (avoiding over-dependence on processed carbs), and moderate daily exercise. If I can't sleep, I can't do anything out the next day. If I eat poorly, I start feeling more pains. You get the picture!
Best wishes, and feel free to ask as questions arise.
