Does anyone read National Geograpic magazines ? The reason I am asking thay had an interview with a lady that has lupus. She was on her way to have a stem cell transplant. That was to help take care of the lupus. It was in the July 06 issue I think.

I use to get those magazines, but haven't in a long time. I wish I had seen that one, especially. I hope she had great results from the stem cell transplant. Maybe they will do a follow up edition on her soon. Tks for sharing that with us Frank.

The article was primarily about the possibilities that exist using stem cells in a variety of situations. The lupus reference was 1, maybe 2, paragraphs of the article. As I recall, the main point was just that stem cells are being researched as possible help for lupians.
