Carpal tunnel causes pain in ALL fingers except the pinky... Cubital tunnel affects the ring and pinky. I should know, I just had surgery for cubital tunnel syndrome. I also have carpal tunnel and my doctor diagnosed it because of the numbness, tingling, and pain in my wrist, palm, thumb, pointer finger, and middle finger and the pain that radiates up on the side near my thumb. Cubital tunnel affects the ulnar nerve where as carpal tunnel affects the median nerve. I really don't know how someone could get that wrong. I just don't want people reading this to be misinformed.
