arm and leg tingling?

I was wondering if anyone with Lupus has warm, tingling sensations in their arms and/or legs? I have a long list of symptoms, and no official dx yet. I havent seen anyone else mention this constant tingling, burning sensation and was wondering if it could be caused by something else? Thanks!

Hi My3sons,

   What you describe sounds like a type of Neuropathy. Have you mentioned this to your doctor yet? If not, you should talk to him/her to find exactly what is going on and get some relief.

   If you look in my signature you will see I have Sensory Polyneuropathy. I think alot of people with lupus, Ra and other AI diseases have some type of neuropathy but, this is something your doctor needs to check out and find the source of your symptoms.

Hello My3sons...

I was having some troubles like you mentioned.  Initially, when it was in my arm, they thought it was a pinched nerve.  Eventually, I was diagnosed with Raynauds which is bad circulation (and it seems that almost everyone who has Lupus has Raynauds).  The other thin I have is hardening of the arteries which again could cause that I suppose.

My sister-in-law just went through those symptoms a couple of weeks ago too and hers was associated with high blood pressure so it could be a host of different things....

Best to mention it to your Doc!!!

I have the burning arms and legs also but my Doc. did not say much when I told him
about it. but thats par for him. (I don't like him.) Linda
