Good books on Lupus?

What are some good books on Lupus?

I have read Lupus Handbook for Women and it was very informative. And gave some good advice on having a relationship while living with lupus.

I need some books on Lupus that give more details of the disease and how to live with it.

The Lupus Book by Dr Daniel Wallace is known as the 'definitive' lupus book. This is the dr that wrote the very expensive >$200 version for physicians. If you purchase books by using the 'bookstore' link at the top of the page you'll be donating a bit to HW w/every purchase.

I agree with Lynnwood. The Lupus Book by Dr Daniel Wallace is the best one that I have come across and I have read several.

"Living with Lupus", by Sheldon Paul Blau and Dodi Schultz, is another good book.

I have read in the past couple months two books (can't remember their names - brain fog) but instead of buying them, I got them from the library. Just a thought for you to check with your library and see what they have as well.

I got THE LUPUS BOOK because it was written by an expert who actually seemed to understand and care about his patients. I should look into some more books but darn it I hate reading more about this disease when I already have to deal with it every day and the meds and the side effects and everything. I may get a second copy tho as mine is MIA.

The first book I read before I knew anything about Lupus after my doc mentioned it as a possibility is "Lupus Q & A". I think its a very good book for people just learning about it but probably not for someone who already knows the basics. I bought "The Lupus Book" by Daniel Wallace and it looks very good indeed but I have to admit that I haven't really read it yet. Its written for the patient however (at least for

) some of it can get technical and my brain fog has been playing havoc recently so my concentration is not so good but I can't wait until I can sit down and read it.
