Raynauds can be primary or secondary. It is often secondary with different auto immune diseases: lupus, scleroderma, mctd are some of them.
I have mctd and raynauds is secondary. It has slowly gotten better but it needs to be watched no matter whether it is primary or secondary. There are treatments if it gets too bad.
Was able to be outside this winter in -11F without a problem although I dressed warmer than in the past. It can be dangerous if severe and untreated. So far, mine has been mild and has not warranted treatment.
