Thankful for my new friends on this forum

This is a wonderful for the first time in awhile I do not feel alone...And I have gotten such good advice on how to handle my 1st rhemotolist appt .I am new at this so to newcomers I wish to say you have found a safe place to face whatever. these people are wonderful and you will find love and understanding like you never imagined....


I need friends a couple of months ago we moved from Washington State to Greenville, Texas what a change but my husband has family here and we had no family in Washington and Washington is so expensive to live and we are both on disability Texas is much better for us .I read the posts a couple times a day makes me feel connected so between you guys and my al-anon meetings I am reaching out and finding acceptance and love...

I am trying to stay positive if I do have Lupus or whatever I want to stay in control....but sometimes the chronic pain and diabetes , and being bi-polar, chronic depression and being married to an alcoholic who is in recovery today is 26 days without a drink Everyday I rejoice ! He has a bad heart and if his life change he won't live long and I really need he have only been married going on 4 years I married late I am 47 now, he is 50 and when he is not drinking he is the most compassionate man I have ever known ..So right now between his recovery from surgery and me and my many symptoms and pain we make quite a pair.

Hi Sheryl and Sue, I just wanted to add I couldn't get thru this without all of my friends on here. Sue I did reply to your last email. I hope things are getting better for you. I know it must have been so hard to go thru this stuff with your brother. Sheryl I'm praying your hubbies results come back benign. That would be a blessing.

   Welcome to the forum. You have found a great group of people here. They have helped me through some rough times. They are awsome!

  It sounds like you have your plate full and then some...((Hugs)). Know that we are here for you and will help you in anyway possible. Please hang in there and take care of yourself during all this. Updated us when you can. You and your hubby will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Sheryl, I too am so happy that you're here and that you already feel right at home with all these wonderful folks. I rarely get out and get pretty lonesome, so in addition to the moral support and the broad shoulders to cry on, I can't imagine what I ever did without my friends here. Until I found this forum, the hardest part of my illness was the feeling of aloneness I felt because no one else really knows what you're going through.

You are struggling with so many problems. I applaud your hubby and you can tell him I said so! My stepson just completed 7 months of sobriety, and my stepdaughter got her 9 year pin in April.

I hope your adjustment to Texas goes well and that your hubby's biopsy results come back negative. Hopefully you'll soon find out what's going on with you.
