Hi everyone,

Well my hubby moved to Phoenix, so I am more on my own than ever. Also alot is going on and I am on retreat. I don't get much break time from retreat but I am posting to vent about all going on. I have to get ultrasound of abdomen Thursday for gallbladder, spleen, pancreas and liver.

Endocrinologist -vitamin D deficiency for sure, and he is checking for other things
Hematologist/Oncologist-Porphyria, anemia in liver ferritin,

7/19
Primary Care-make sure pain levels are ok, etc

7/24
Cardiologist-follow up with heart murmur, history of sinus tachycardia, adrenaline levels, etc

7/25
Allergy/Asthma-airborne reaction to shrimp, need epi-pen now and recheck for allergies to food and environmental.

Awaiting to hear from neuro to check for random muscle contractions/spasms to recheck for ms, if dystonia, migraines, and neuropathy.

I think that covers it. I am glad I am on retreat this week because next few weeks will be rough. I have managed some fun/relaxing time in there somewhere, along with a concert.
I am sure to be worst from testing and so sick of all this but what can you do but go to get better.

I know others have mentioned passing me around for $$$$ but I know with all I have, they also try not to run tests if not needed because of how bad it does affect me. I am just sick of this and I hope they find the rest of what is needed to help me move forward with remission. Thanks for listening, sorry to complain. Back off to meditation, break is over.

((((((((Leta)))))))))), bless your heart what an aweful time you are going through. I'm glad you are getting to have some self reflextion time right now. It may help keep you balanced during these tests. Even though the tests can be rough if they help it's a good thing. If they don't it makes me want to pull what's left of my hair out. It's to bad you can have another vacation after they are done with all the tests. I'm not sure what is going on with you and hubby but it doesn't sound like a good thing. I just had the same ultra sound done. other than the vanilla barium it wasn't too bad of test.
Good luck try to pace yourself and try not to get to stressed. Remember to breath once and awhile. Let us know how things are going with the test.

Hi Leta--
Hope you feel better. My air conditioner broke and my pc tends to overheat (Ineed to take it in) and I don' have money for either. It's just one thing after another. Once we think we have something licked and we can catch up, something else just breaks. Its awful. I just had to save up and put all my savings into one of my cars, now this. Oh well. I hope you get figured out soon. My docs run tests and never get them, so I have to drive and deliver them (45 minutes from my house!) and then they never look at them. Everytime I think I know, the tests don't come out right. That airborne allergy to shrimp sounds awful.

Leta, you sure have a lot on your plate. I really hope all of the tests go okay for you and that somehow you get some rest. Update us on what you find out from all of your tests. Take care

Leta, Sounds like you are going to be quite a busy woman. Make sure you take breaks in between all of this. Let us know how it goes.

I hope you haven't scheduled more than your body can handle, and hope you manage to get through the next few weeks. Hopefully you'll get some answers from your doctors. Let us know how the ultrasound and the rest of your tests go. And do try to get some rest. I'll be thinking of you.

Wow Leta!  You have more appts than I do... and I thought it couldn't be done.  I sure hope these docs are able to help you and get you on the road to remission.  Try to get some rest in between all this.  (((Hugs)))

Hi Leta--
Just wondering how you are doing. I've been out of sorts, having trouble focusing, hence my last post. I hope you are feeling better and that you get the answers you need. I'm still having trouble with the sun, and this time the pharmacist stuck a label about sunsensitivity on the protopic ointment I've been using. I'm in a lot of pain, I took to trying to swim everyday outside a little and its caught up with me. I think of you alot and am so grateful for all the help you've given me. I really hope everything checks out good and they get you the treatment and stuff to make your life good and less painful. The shrimp thing really gets me because where I live, like 20 miles from the ocean, smells from time to time from the shrimp. I can't imagine what it would do to you if you had an allergy. Take care and let us know what happens.

Leta,

  (((Hugs))) I'm sorry your going through all this. Hopefully, once its all done and they get the results back they will know what direction to go for better treatment so you will start to feel better. Hang in there and rest some. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
