Hi! Unless your doctor says its not a good idea to exercise with everthing going on, keep on walking on a daily basis if you can. I find that when I'm feeling my worst (swollen, stiff, achey joints) walking, biking and even running seem to help me the most. Granted I have been running for years, so I'm not sure that you'll want to pick this up. I think it not only makes the joints more flexible, but in a mind over matter sort of way you don't pay as much attention to the pain. If you are having pain after exercise, be sure to ice or heat the area. A bath can help or if you have access to a hot tub thats the best. Also, have you tried any analgesics? My chiroprator recommend Bio-Freeze-it help with pain and cool the area. I really like it. Keep in mind that if you are in pain after doing exercise, cutting that time in half and trying to do it 2 smaller sessions a day might work. You'll have to test yourself. Hope this helps. I'll be thinking about you.
