Need to vent...worried about my kidneys

Hi Pat! Sorry it's taken so long to write back. I've been incredibly busy with everything!

I was having trouble with the plaquenil. We cut back to 200mg a day and I haven't been sick or thrown up since. I'm hoping it stays that way. I would like to try again with the 400mg because I want it to work so bad, but then again, I don't want to be sick.

Dr. Albert is very thorough. I feel like I know more after only 2 visits than I did in an entire year with my other dr. I am so relieved to have gotten in to her. I go back on Thursday, so we will see how everything is. I hope you're feeling well!

Heather, i'm so happy for you! It's great when we find a doctor with whom we can communicate and I'm so glad that you really like Dr. Albert. She has a great reputation, especially among doctors. She's the doctor that ordered my echocardiogram last week because she didn't like what she heard through the stethescope and I have confidence that she's real thorough and knowledgeable.

I had the echo on Friday but haven't received any news about it. I hope to hear something tomorrow. Thanks to all of you for your words of support. This is just one of those things we all go through from time to time with lupus. I'll lt everyone know when I hear something.

Hi Patty, I was wondering what you found out from your echo? Did you get the resuts back yet? I know I have been just an awful friend lately. My heart is truly with you even when the rest of my body isn't. How's the peeing going? and the UTI? It seems like i have gotten more of them since I got the lupus DX than I have had in my whole life. I'm wondering if it's the meds that causes it? Well I guess I better get ready I have to get some food in this house weather I feel like it or not. I'll check back later
