Hi! everyone as we know October is Lupus Awareness Month. Does anyone know where I might find a press release about this as my local newspaper is doing an interview with me tomorrow to help raise lupus awareness yeah   I am excited as I usually can't get any interest in my area.

On a sadder note I'm still without rhuemy, MTX on hold because of that so massive flares!!, colonoscopy on Thursday but hey the weather has finally cooled down.

Cathy, how exciting that you're giving an interview tomorrow. Have you contacted the Lupus Association of America? They may have a press release and if they don't, I would think that they could give you plenty of information for your paper.

I hate it that you aren't able to take MTX because you don't have a rheumy. Can your PCP not prescribe it for you in the meantime? I hope you find a new rheumy real soon because that's important for your health.

I know your interview will be terrific and I hope you'll post a link for us so that we can read it when it is published.

Thanks Everyone I will let you all know how it goes! I was surprised none of the lupus organazations mentions awareness month
