Great doctor's appointment!

I saw my rheumy this week and she told me that my heart valve leakeage is not due to lupus because there is no inflammation around the valves. I was so relieved that I nearly shouted for joy. She also added that she doubts that I'll have any organ involvement with my lupus. My breathing has cleared up and she believes that it's something that I brought back from our vacation. We had a long frank chat and I left feeling more positive than I have in three years.

I asked her about accupressure and she told me that she doesn't see how it could hurt and that it might help. I'm going to start doing two rounds a week in an attempt to retrain my body to deal with my pain differently and to eliminate allergens from my body. We will systematically delete foods from my diet. i'm told that it's a several month process. I'll keep you updated.

that is great news!  I'm so glad to hear this.  What a relief!  I have heard that accupressure is very good.  I'm thinking of trying it too.  Supposed to be great for fibro!

Hi patty, I'm so glad you had a good appt: I too have to start eliminating things from my diet. apprently this stupid PBC doesn't do well with protein. Great! and me on an atkins diet lol. anyway I have been reading the boards alot and havn't seen you post much. I was just checking in on ya. I just been thinking about ya
