busy next few weeks

I just wanted to let everyone know that I might not be online as much as usual the next week or two. I have some different things going on with my kids at school and we have to go out of town for my son's appointment with the new pediatric rheumy. I've actually been feeling pretty good these last few days and have really been enjoying doing some little projects around home and I have just enjoyed living life again. Of course I still have pain and fatigue but it is much more manageable now than it had been. I still don't think I'll try to taper my prednisone until after my son's appointment. I'll still come online as much as I can, but I just wanted to let everyone know if I'm not around a lot it's not because I'm flaring (or at least I hope I won't be).

Hi Hippie!! Thanks so much for the heads up. We would have worried about you!!! SO GLAD you have been feeling better. *phewwww!* you were in such sad shape for so long!! Pace . . . pace . . . pace . . . but enjoy your break from . . . hope it lasts and lasts for you!! Hi Hippi, thanks for letting us know. I'm so glad you are feeling better. I hope this cooler weather is going to help you out some. I hope all goes well for your son at his upcoming appt: try to rest when ever you can

Glad to hear that you are feeling much better. Remember don't work yourself out and take care while doing all these little projects.

I'm glad you're going to take some time for yourself and your kids. Sometimes it's good to step back and shake things up bit. Enjoy your projects! Don't you wish you could just forget about lupus for one whole week! I hope you continue to feel ok and that Josh's appointment goes well. I know we'll all be anxious to know how you like the new pediatric rheumy and what he or she has to say. I wish you lots of luck on the 23rd.
