Hi,
I have found some herbal treatments that help. There are essential oil products that also help. I have used peppermint oil for pain and inflammation in my feet with some success.
I also discovered that homeopathy is very helpful and tends to interact far less with prescription drugs than herbs. A remedy called Causticum has been wonderful for my joint pain and restless elbow joint - my experience with Causticum is that it has helped my joint pain far better than Hydroxychloroquin ever did, and I only need a dose of Causticum occasionally whereas the prescription hydroxychloroquin was a daily thing and it took about 4 months to tell whether it would even do anything for me. And what little it did wasn't really worth the expense of the drug.
Yes, be careful about drug interactions with herbs. Many prescription medications got their start from certain features of herbs - for example, white willow bark contains natural aspirin.
I'm still experimenting with other herbal and homeopathic treatments for my own issues. I hope this is helpful. Take care,
