Those of you who have had the unfortunate luck of having scalp sores ... does the hair eventually grow back or is the hair folicules damaged?

Gidget, I've had hair loss and sores on my scalp and my hair does grow back. I can see and feel the hair growing back in. When I'm doing my hair I can see little patches where there is short hair that is growing back in. I really hope yours grows back too. This disease is hard enough to deal with - we shouldn't have to worry about going bald too.
