Hi Carol.  I was just checking in to see if you had heard anything from all the tests you had done.  I imagine you are worn out from all of the appointments.  You've been in my thoughts and prayers. Love, hippi

Hi Hippi and Pat, Thank you so much for checking on me. My doctor has been out of town since last wenesday. She just got back yesterday. The only thing that the nurse said she was able to get to thru her stack of backed up files on the desk was my ECHO. She said I have I'll probably misspell it but here go's Cardiomyopathy which she said it to be expected with Lupus and COPD. She still says I have Lupus and my rheumy said I don't. I just wish they'd get locked together in a room until they figure it out. In the mean time from what I gather my heart is becoming (involved) to some degree. They didn't suggest doing anything about it so I guess I will go on being in the dark. sad

I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I'm just really having a hard time right now and can't be good company. I do try to take a min to check out all the wonderful new peep's on here though. WOW there sure is alot of them.

Carol,

I'm so sorry to hear that you're down. I understand what you mean about not being good company. I have crawled into a cave myself and am just feeling a little antisocial. Anytime you want to talk.....you know I'm here. Do you need to find another rheumy? Heather and I both see a good one here in the City which is sooo far from you. Let me know how I can help.

Carol, I'm sorry to hear about your heart and sorry to hear you are having a rough time. Please don't hesitate to come here and talk about it if you want to. You are always here for others and have helped to lift many of us up when we were down. We'd like to be able to do the same for you. You are always good company to us whether you are up, down, or all over the place. Like Pat, I wish there was more I could do for you. Just know that we are here for you and we care about you. Hi Carol, sorry to hear you are having heart and respiratory problems. Even though I only have "a lupus like, sjogrens like autoimmune condition caused by liver disease", I do strangely have anticardiolipin antibodies, like why my heart? and had some damage that repaired itself when the flare was over. Also have COPD. Just for some weird reason I have those antibodies and not some others. I have an odd grabbag of them compared to normal lupus patients because of having like secondary autoimmune disease. I had to laugh on you saying your docs need to be locked together in a room until they figure it out. I like that. I hope you get good results and feel better soon.

Hi Marji, thanks hun I appreciate you responding. I was glad to hear your son finally came home. I hope he can get things straightened around in his life. 19 is a hard age to be. You need to take care of yourself. I know that you worry about your kids. You'd worry about them until they're 100. That's just the way it is. Just try to take times for yourself. Kids don't understand what it's like until they have kids of their own.
